Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the application and effectiveness of a mobile technology-based emotional support system in adolescent mental health intervention in low-income communities. With the increasing severity of adolescent mental health problems, especially in low-income communities, it is difficult for traditional psychological interventions to cover all the needs due to the lack of resources. By designing a mobile emotional support system specifically for adolescents in low-income communities, this study hopes to provide emotional support, mental health education, and stress management functions through an online platform, and to evaluate its effectiveness in enhancing adolescents' emotional regulation, improving mental health, and improving academic performance. The study used mixed methods, including qualitative interviews, focus group discussions, and a pre- and post-test experimental design, with the aim of providing a more effective mental health intervention model for adolescents in low-income neighborhoods and exploring the sustainability and social adaptability of the model.
