Abstract

以黎巴嫩人质为题材的戏剧《会有人看顾我》是弗兰克·麦吉尼斯的代表作之一。剧中三位西方人质通过对东方的“他者化”，特别是通过对阿拉伯女性的性别化想象和对阿拉伯世界的暴力化描述，强化自身作为西方集体身份的优越性。同时，麦吉尼斯还挑战了西方传统的二元对立思维模式，探讨了在权力关系与身份认同不断变化和发展的过程中，东西方文化之间的复杂性和交织互动，并提出了它们之间进行对话与交流的可能性。他通过作品展现了文化间的冲突与碰撞，同时也揭示了这些冲突背后蕴藏的相互理解与共存的空间。
