Immersion, release and return: the inner logic of youth murder mystery game socialization

Through participatory observation and interviews, we take murder mystery game socialization as an example to explore the internal logic of murder mystery game socialization among youth groups in the era of deep mediation. murder mystery game socialization, the game bridges the emotional connection with others, so that young people gain "emotional value"; in different types of murder mystery games, they get emotional release through empathy, and gain a sense of diversified social experience; in the unique social mechanism of the game, young people get their bodies back in the interaction and communication to meet the demand of "body participation". In the unique social mechanism of the game, young people can return to their bodies in the interactive communication and satisfy the demand of "body participation". Although the internal logic of youth murder mystery game socialisation can be analysed from the intrinsic needs of youth groups in the era of deep media and the pursuit of social experience, there are still many problems inside and outside the murder mystery game that are still worthy of our discussion.
