Abstract
学界关于雪莱夫妇之间的文学互动研究并不常见，部分研究大多落入“珀西对于弗兰肯斯坦这一角色创造具有巨大作用和影响”的窠臼之中。而当尝试将珀西在原版《弗兰肯斯坦》的改动纳入观察、评介的视野中时，以往“珀西对玛丽的影响巨大”之定论似乎能产生更多新的有趣结果。同时，通过对珀西于玛丽初稿中“浅薄的改动”和“深刻的改动”进行分析，可以推得相较于珀西企图利用“诗”的力量来面对或制衡英国步入工业革命时期文学创作群体所面临的焦虑，玛丽更愿意站在功利主义的角度直接指出“科学家应采取谨慎负责的态度去限制和控制科学的发展”这一具有现代性和科学伦理意义的观点。因此，珀西之“雕琢”不应一言以蔽之，否则难免步入布鲁姆所谓“影响的焦虑”的忧郁症之中。
